Never Give in to Fear: Laughing All the Way Up From Rock Bottom

Never Give in to Fear: Laughing All the Way Up From Rock Bottom - Marti MacGibbon Do you feel this book belongs in the non-fiction genre?

I think this would be a great book for anyone in recovery no matter the addiction.

Was the point of the book to share an opinion, explain a topic, tell about a personal journey, or something else? Did the author tell the story well?

I feel the author told this as a personal journey. A journey through a horrible experience. A journey no human should live thru. Sadly, this journey was real for this author and I expect it is real for others as well.

Did any parts of the book inspire you? If so, what?

Yes, this story inspired me to keep my head high. No matter what.

Will you read other books by this author? Why or why not?

Probably, Honestly it depends on the topic. If she writes additional memoirs about recover or a journey thru addiction. Then yes, I will read them. I look forward to expanding my knowledge on a person’s personal journey thru recover and what worked for them. What worked for one person might not work for others we all live and learn thru trial and error. But for someone in recovery, that trial and error helps some people from making the same mistakes. We learn from the experience of others.

Did reading this book change your life in a positive or negative way? Explain.

A positive way. I not an alcoholic, but it reminds me that everyone struggles with something. Some have it worse than others.
