Amidst Traffic

Amidst Traffic - Matthew Kovalcik (Photographer) Do you feel as if your views on a subject have changed by reading this text? After reading this book, it has made my faith in God stronger. Knowing that no matter what he is always with me and to believe in miracles a little more. We may not see the miracle or even believe it but it has happened and will keep happening.

Did you find any flaws in the book? One of the few self-published books that the book club has read that is flawless. It is nice to know the author took the time to show pride in his work making sure it was flawless.

What are your concerns about this book? So many people will read and not understand the meaning and see how all the stories connect. So many people will read 3-4 stories and stop not realizing that the full meaning will only be revealed after reading the whole book.

THE GARDEN The Unauthorized Biography of Adam and Eve

The Garden: The Unauthorized Biography of Adam and Eve - Paul T. Harry Who in this book would you most like to meet? The main characters of course, Adam and Eve. They were witty and easy to relate with despite the sci-fi elements that were added to the story. The bit of Eve's telepathic powers being ahead of Adam's did make me laugh.

Do any characters grow or change during the course of the novel? I think both Adam and Eve grow in different ways. They learn to live together despite their differences and when Kane kills Able they feel grief and horror like any other parent would feel in present day.

List the characters and describe them. There are easily more than 30 characters in this book and if you find it confusing, the author has graciously included a list in the beginning so you can refer to this.

This was one my favourite reads. It was written well and the editing was polished. Looking forward to reading more from this author.

The Mountain City Bronzes

The Mountain City Bronzes - Madeleine McLaughlin
Who in this book would you most like to meet? The artist, just to string him up and kill him all over again.

Do any characters grow or change during the course of the novel? I feel Kevin developed in the story as he was supposed to grow for his age. It is hard for a 10-year-old to understand a lot. But felt that he learned an important lesson.

List the characters and describe them. Kevin – 10 year old boy who plays at the jail where his father works. Chester and Lorne – two men who frequent the jail. The sculptor – only talked about in the past tense.

Primal

Primal - D.A. Serra Did this book give you any new ideas about yourself? Why? I too would do everything in my power to save my family.

Did you like the way the story ended? It ended just like it should have. It was the only wayher family would ever be truly safe.

What did you think was the most interesting part of the book? When Alison divided the brothers and took them out one at a time. The chase was excruciating. Running through the woods in the dark. It was rainy and muddy.

Ghost Leopard: A Zoe & Zak Adventure (Volume 1)

If you were in a problem situation like one in the book, how would you have acted? I would have listened to Mukta and believed in his visions.

Was the story/characters credible? The entire book was credible where the characters were concerned. Although the story seemed a little out of this world, who knows where a child's imagination can take you?

The Symbolon: Book 2 of The SIbylline Trilogy (Volume 2)

The Symbolon - Delia J. Colvin Is the plot well-developed? The story is well developed. You get just enough detail to keep it interesting without dragging you down with useless information.

Who in this book would you most like to meet? Paolo - He's very intriguing. Good man that's rich and available.

Do any characters grow or change during the course of the novel? Paolo is portrayed, as a user and manipulator at the beginning. But in the end he was a trust worthy, loyal friend.

Did this book remind you of anything that has happened to you? Nothing like this has ever happened to me. Never been a time traveller. Never had to pick pocket to survive. Did make me feel grateful for what I had.

Did this book give you any new ideas about yourself? No new ideas. Did enjoy the book which surprised me because I don't usually enjoy time travel books.
