The Silver Sphere

The Silver Sphere - Michael Dadich What was unique about the setting of the book and how did it enhance or take away from the story?

The planet Azimuth. The creation of this planet allows readers to explore another world. This is a great part about reading especially when an author gives just enough information that allows readers to go beyond what what is written.

What specific themes did the author emphasize throughout the novel?

Basically the theme is good versus evil, but it is more than that. To me it is domination, evil wants to rule. Dadich has created a story where evil has gained strength. Dadich is showing that as long as you keep fighting the good fight, you will win any battle over evil.

Do the characters seem real and believable? Can you relate to their predicaments?

The characters felt real and believable. I could connect with most characters at some point in the book.

How do characters change or evolve throughout the course of the story?

The characters grew while learning about the new planet. While fighting with the evil forces trying to take over Azimuth that would eventually take over the world. I believe that Shelby & Zack grew the most during the story.

Name your favorite thing overall about the book. Your least favorite?

The portal to travel from earth to a distance planet thousand of light-years away is my favorite. It was like opening up a door and walking from one planet to the next.

My least favorite part is when Mr. Dempsey died. I would have liked to know that he lived. Or at least how Shelby explained to everyone what happened to Mr. Dempsey.
